Acronyms—An Industry Phenomenon or Simply an Annoying Trend?

Fractals

The use of acronyms has grown exponentially with the explosion of IT, with new acronyms being created on an almost daily basis. Acronyms are used for just about everything in the world of technology—from computer languages and hardware, to protocols and software.
