Software Rating Reports

Free sample rating reports are offered by Technology Evaluation Centers (TEC).

Selecting an enterprise application software is not a simple process. You have to contend with vendor hype, consultants’ conflicts of interest, and a tediously long selection process.

How do you navigate through all these difficulties without sinking the ship?

Well, you establish your needs and priorities. You create a long list of vendors. You fire off your request for information (RFI) or request for proposal (RFP) to these vendors. And then you sit back and wait, right?

Not necessarily.

You want to shorten the decision cycle, save time and resources, and above all, reduce the risk, to simplify what is necessarily a complex project.

In sending an RFI or RFP, your goal is to transform a long list into a shortlist. It’s a process of publicizing the requests, collecting responses, verifying these responses, and vetting them. You may have used an RFP template to obtain responses in a clear and consistent format, and to accelerate the process, but that’s only part of the challenge.

Software rating reports—also known as product rating reports—are RFIs/RFPs which have already completed by software vendors. They have been vetted and verified through impartial analysis. Andmost importantly to your peace of mindthey allow you to enter the decision cycle knowing that the work that’s already been done has been done right.

A complete rating detail report will cover vendor responses to a comprehensive research model—and will address your concerns about how vendors are going to support your requirements.

Technology Evaluation Centers (TEC) offers impartial, analyst-vetted product rating reports, with up to 4,000 criteria, in such domains as enterprise resource planning (ERP), supply chain management (SCM), accounting, human resources (HR), and business intelligence (BI).

Find out how you can accelerate the software selection process.
